WHITE CO, IL (WFIE) - A coal mine accident happens Monday morning White County, Illinois.
Our media partner The Princeton Clarion reports three men are injured while operating an underground transportation vehicle at White County Coal's Pattiki Mine southeast of Carmi.
The accident happened around 7:00 a.m. Coal mine officials confirm all three men were transported to medical facilities in Evansville.
The accident is under investigation by federal and state agencies.
