OHIO CO., KY (WFIE) - The mother of a missing Ohio County man said Saturday night, she's identified the body discovered there Friday.

The Ohio County Sheriff's Department responded to a call of a body located off of the 1400 block on Vine Hill Road in Beaver Dam on Friday.

That's close to where Nancy Moore's son, James Whalin, 41, lived.  He was last seen as he walked away from his home during January's ice storm.

The body was found by a tree trimmer that was working along Vine Hill Road cleaning up debris from the recent ice storm.

An autopsy will be conducted on Monday in Madisonville to help determine the cause of death.
