OTWELL, IN - The Pike County Sheriff's Office said a 20-month-old boy fell from the grandstands during a demolition derby at the Otwell Fairgounds around 8:10pm Sunday.

The young boy was with his mother when he fell 20 to 25 feet.  He landed face down in a bed of gravel.

He was transported to a Jasper Emergency Room then air-lifted to St. Mary's in Evansville.

The boy's injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
