STURGIS, KY (WFIE) - An accident over the weekend in Nevada killed a mother and daughter from Sturgis, Kentucky.
Authorities said 38-year-old Buffie Koue was driving a pickup truck on Interstate 80 near Elko when it drifted off the road and overturned several times.
She was ejected and died later at the hospital.
Joan Pearson, 64, died at the scene.
Neither was wearing a seat belt.
Another daughter of Pearson's was restrained and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
