14 News, The Tri-State's News and Weather Leader-Accident kills one, sends three to hospital

DAVIESS CO., KY (WFIE) - There is new information Saturday night on a fatal accident in Daviess County.
It happened Friday night just before 9:00 on Kentucky 54 near Whitesville.
State police said a car driven by Steven Sutton of Fordsville crossed the center line and hit another car head-on.
Sutton was pronounced dead at the scene.
A driver and her two passengers in the other vehicle were taken to Owensboro Medical Health Systems with multiple injuries.
KY 54 was shut down for over three hours due to the reconstruction and extensive clean-up.
At this point in the investigation, its unknown if speed, alcohol or drugs played a factor in the collision.
The investigation is on-going.
