MT. VERNON, IN (WFIE) - A Mt. Vernon man was arrested on meth-related charges following a chase in southern Illinois.

Saline County deputies said 38-year-old Ryan C. Reynolds took off in a pickup truck after he was spotted running from an anhydrous ammonia tank near Harrisburg.

Deputies said Ryan then crashed the vehicle and ran on foot.

He was caught a short time later along with 41-year-old Tonya Sherwin.

The sheriff's office said Reynolds is wanted in Posey County on a meth charge.
