OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) - A Tri-State youth minister has been arrested on sexual abuse charges.

Police say Jacob Conder, 22, is accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl.

Police say the suspected sexual abuse took place at Wing Avenue Baptist Church on August 7, 2009.

Condor is listed on the church's website as the current youth director.

Owensboro police detectives arrested Condor Wednesday.

The suspect is currently lodged at the Daviess County Detention Center.

Police have charged Condor with sexual abuse in the first degree.

14 News called the church for comment but so far our calls have gone unreturned.
