HUNTINGBURG, IN (WFIE) - A Huntingburg dog is home safe after a dog nabbing incident Wednesday night.

Police were called to a home on 7th Street after the owner, Terry Bolin, reported that her dog was stolen.

Bolin told police that Chelsie Davis had come to her home to pick up her pit-bull puppy.

According to the press release, Davis also took Bolin's adult dog with her.

Police said they got a hold of Chelsie via the Washington police.

The dog was picked up in Washington.  Davis was arrested and charged with theft.
