HOPKINS CO, KY (WFIE) - A Madisonville man is charged with a second DUI after troopers say he crashed into one of their cruisers.

Kentucky State Police say Trooper Nicholas Rice was heading south on Stagecoach Road late Thursday night.

They say David Huddleston was heading east on Tucker Schoolhouse Road, but failed to stop at a stop sign, hitting Trooper Rice's cruiser.

Troopers say Huddleston failed a field sobriety test.

Huddleston and a passenger in his car were not hurt, but Trooper Rice was taken to Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released.
