WHITE PLAINS, KY (WFIE) - A warehouse at Kelly's Towing and Environment Service in White Plains, Kentucky, is destroyed by fire.

White Plains Fire Chief Jason Ely tells 14 News the fire started before 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Kelly's Towing on Highway 62.

There were reports at one point of 40 foot flames. Ely says there were several gas and oil tanks on the property, and six fire crews responded.

It took those crews about an hour to get the fire under control.

"It definitely was a collaborative effort, and without good help and good resources, this would have been different," White Plains Fire Chief Jason Eli said. "We would have probably had some fuel tanks explode and maybe the house next door, so definitely good help today."

No one was hurt, but the building is being called a total loss.
