GIBSON CO, IN (WFIE) - An 18-year-old Petersburg woman has been sentenced in a Oakland City robbery.

Candace M. Crow, 18, was sentenced four years in prison following her admission to robbing the Oakland City Tobacco Road Food Mart earlier this year.

Crow pled guilty to the charge of Robbery, a Class C felony.

As part of a plea agreement reached with the Gibson County Prosecutor's Office, Crow will serve the first 3 years of her sentence in the Indiana Department of Corrections with the remaining year to be served on probation.

Officials say Crow told the gas station clerk he would be shot if he did not give her money.

Three days later, a Pike County Deputy Sheriff received information that Crow had told someone she had robbed the store.

Thomas Cannon was charged with Assisting a Criminal, a Class D felony and is scheduled to appear again in Gibson Circuit Court on November 6th at 9am.
