WARRICK CO., IN (WFIE) - A Warrick County family got the keys to their brand new home Sunday.

Thanks to Habitat for Humanity, Kendra Seib is now a new homeowner.

A dedication ceremony was held Sunday afternoon on Elm Street in Lynnville.

The home build began in mid-July, and Seib said she's been overwhelmed with the volunteer support.

She's grateful Habitat has been there for her.

"I was living in an apartment that was pretty costly and one of my friends said, 'you've always worked two and three jobs, why don't you apply for a Habitat home?' So I did and I received a house I never thought I'd be able to afford," Seib said.

Seib said the only thing she's waiting on is electricity.

The home was built with proceeds from Habitat ReStore.
