OAKLAND CITY, IN (WFIE) - Gibson County Dispatch tells 14 News there is a water main leak in Oakland City.

It's on Morton Street right in front of Buehler's Buy Low.

Officials at town hall tell us it is a major 10 inch water main break.

They say at this point crews hope to not have to turn off water to the entire town, but the tower is losing about a foot an hour.

Water officials say they are working to dig up the break and fix it.

Traffic is being diverted.
