Things looking up for Webster and Hancock

HANCOCK AND WEBSTER CO., KY (WFIE) - New information Monday night on the storm cleanup in Hancock and Webster Counties.  

Emergency Management director Terry Greathouse says about 20 percent of Hancock County still has no power.

Power is expected to be restored in Hawesville sometime Monday evening.

The water pumps are back on regular power.

Superintendent Scott Lewis says Hancock County schools are closed Tuesday and will not open until the shelter at Hancock County Middle School is closed.

In Webster County, Kenergy officials tell us they are still working to restore power to about 2,000 homes Monday night.
