OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) - Folks in Owensboro got an up-close look at some of the fish found in the Ohio River Tuesday.

The Ohio River Valley Sanitation Commission held the exhibit at English Park to show the community all the different kinds of wildlife found in the water.

Organizers said the river is much cleaner than in years past and has led to more sporting fish life locally.

The event attracted about 1,500 people the past two days.
