EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - A group of motorcycle riders hit the road Saturday for a generous cause.
The Eagle Riders 4023 held a toy run. All riders were welcome, but they had to donate one new toy, a can of food and $10 to participate.
All donations will go to Toy Town and the Tri-State Food Bank.
The beautiful weather and holiday spirit brought out a good crowd.
"You know, there's a lot of families out there that struggle this time of the year with their children and worried about how they're gonna give them gifts and stuff like that," Eagle Riders 4023 President Gerald Houseknecht said. "We just wanna help. That's what we do."
The Eagle Riders will be collecting toys and canned food donations until a week before Christmas.
You can drop off a donation at the River City Eagles located at Ninth and Franklin.
