EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Congratulations to the Tri-State firefighters who placed top 10 in the Fire Fighter Combat World Challenge in Las Vegas.
The fastest individual and relay teams competed.
Team Evansville Metro placed seventh in the world and set a state record.
They were eliminated in the fourth round by the U.S. Air Force, who went on to win second.
There was just a little over a second and a half separating the second place and seventh place teams.
