EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - There may be a lot of Super Bowl excitement going on, but hundreds of women said they still have a wedding to plan.

Brides-to-be packed the Centre in downtown Evansville for Super Bride Sunday.

The one day event is a one-stop shop, filled with everything a couple needs to plan their big day.

Couples said they're getting a lot of new ideas.

"Being in a place where it's pretty much low pressure," John Fyffe, who's getting married, said. "The people working these booths aren't trying to tackle you. It's nice to be able to visit with people and get some ideas."

The day ended with a cake dive, where brides dove into a 50-foot wedding cake to try and win wedding bands.

Proceeds benefit the Easter Seals Rehab Center.
